Appearance is cloudy dark yellow-light brown with nice sparkle at edges of the glass, 1/2-finger width foamy white head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is dank, citrus, milder astringent fruit and grainy malt backbone. Taste is dank earth; muddled tart, sweet, astringent fruit; late biscuit. Palate is medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, nice alcohol warmth, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste with mild bitterness. Overall, there's a fair amount going on here but it's all bunched up in the early stages of the flavor. Decent but greater potential.
