473mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Nose is pretty mild, with a touch of vinous character and light toasted malt. Flavour is somewhat puzzling, with some nice gentle vinous notes, light red wine tannins, and moderate roast. Tannic, moderately roasty, low residual sweetness. It's subtle, but surprisingly solid.
A deep dark stout with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee, a nice light licorice, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, strawberry, light grapeskins, licorice, very nice. On tap at À la Dérive.
