Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Black colour. Strong aroma of toasted nuts, chestnut honey. Full bodied; it's moderately sweet, the sweetness is balanced by the strong roast; good malt backbone, dry coffee, roasted nuts; complex and dynamic, masterfully done.

750ml (thx, Alex M.!) on Phill's deck. Appearance: opaque brown with beige head. Aroma: very roasty, a vit sweet. Taste: roasty, sweet and bitter with some fruity character. Overall: good, but it's too roasty for me.

Jet black with a decent light brown head. Roasty and chocolate notes. Roast, chocolate and cocoa with a nice long bitter finish. Good and balanced.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is full of woody roasted malt, a fair amount of hops, and a hint of dusty dry cocoa. Flavour is super smooth, with plenty of smooth roasted malt, wood, and some dry piney hops on the underside. For the high hop content, this is a beautiful balance of hops and malt. Damn smooth, with just enough carbonation. Excellent.
