Big, cork and white bottle kindly shared by Finn. Shared with him, Synny, and Lunde. Near-black body under a rich fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Rounded roasted aromas of dark chocolate, earth, and herbal hops. Fine blended malt-driven flavours. including moments of grainy chocolate, nuts, and coffee. Nicely roasted bitter ending, long lived sustained by warmth for the alcohol. Fine depth to it. Celebration time for Finn. (Tromsø, 17.07.2025).

Black with lasting dark creamy head. It's a well rounded and flavoursome stout. Dark roasted malt, a touch of dark chocolate too.

Undated (as far as I can tell) 750mL bottle drunk 9/7/23. Dark, not sure if it's clear. Tan head quickly to ring. Smells very classic. Roast, dark chocolate, black licorice, vanilla, coffee, sweet caramel. No booze. Soft, rich, medium-bodied with some malty heft and a bit of syrupy caramel and milk chocolate character. Not boozey or acidic/overly roasty. Really quite elegant and well-done here, with a very nice balance between sweet and dry, roast/acidic and chocolate/vanilla. Probably tending just a touch sweeter than I'd prefer, but only slightly.

A black beer, a head is medium and light brown. Aroma has liquorice, chocolate, hazelnuts, also light salt liquorice, brilliant. Taste has liquorice, some caramel, dried fruitness and roastiness. Full bodied, not stickyness. Great balance. Brilliant beer.

75 cl bottle @ LTM Takeover in Huikas '21. Batch 023: BBE 02.06.2020 Aroma has licorice, coffee and herbal vibes. Also ash. Flavour has salty licorice, some coffee and ash. A bit too salty but enjoyable still.
