A small bottle from the off-licence opposite Jing Mei fire station. Aroma: fresh and yeasty. Appearance: opaque murky amber, remarkable aeration patterns from top to bottom. Very generous creamy head, capped with brownish scum, a 330ml. bottle fills a 500ml. mug perfectly. Palate: full-bodied and creamy, rather lively carbonation. Doesn’t linger in the mouth, a hit of booze and it’s gone. Taste: lightly sweet with bitter notes, extremely well-balanced; vanilla and almonds in equal measure, plus some butter. The back label says ‘...heavenly nectar within reach…’ and who am I to argue! Great drinking.

Slightly hazy golden pour, huge white head. Huge tropical fruit aroma, loads of yeasty esters, with some subtle herbs, and mint. Very lively effervescent mouth feel. Medium bitter finish ,lots of fruit and yeast, with more herbs and a pronounced banana note. Superb tripel.

Аромат супер рекогназибельный, это классический трипель. Хмелевая сухость, много цитрусовых ноток, кислые нотки от шампанского, легкая травянистость, совсем немного ягод. Пенка супер пышная и стойкая, при этом мыльная, по цвету полутемное желтое. Вкус как и аромат продолжает традиции стиля. Очень сильная карбонизация, тело плотное при этом алкоголя не ощущается вообще. Сразу много солода и пряных ноток от кардамона. Послевкусие уже более пшеничное, дрожжи едва различимы. Намеки на сухофрукты, включая курагу конечно. В целом почти эталонный трипель.

From a 330ml bottle on 14/9/2024. Pours a clear medium golden with a biggish head. Smells lightly yeasty with some citrus and spice. The taste features light caramel, banana, clove and lemon, with a slightly spicy finish. Medium bodied with very lively carbonation. Pleasant drinking.

Appearance: Cloudy gold with a lovely head. Aroma: Spicy yeast, banana, apples & pears, malt, grass, distant funky notes. Taste: Pretty much the same. Medium dry, decently hopped. Light to medium ending bitterness. Mouth feel: medium plus body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Highest class.
