7/9/11/12/11/11

355ml bottle. It pours an opaque, black with a creamy head which mostly disappears quite quickly. The nose has chocolate and smokiness. The taste is far more smoked than the nose and it is quite creamy. RE the palate, the smokiness is far more dominant over the other flavours and it doesn’t really refresh much on the end. Overall, oh dear, I had to force it down a bit so not a good sign, though it did get better,

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a large creamy tan head that lingered and produced some lacing. The aroma was woody, smoky and a bit roasty and dry. The flavor was dryish, woody, smoky and a bit roasty and nutty. The finish was long, dry and smoky. Medium body and a bit creamy. Eh.
