(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours quite hazy pale orange with a tight white head. Notes of mandarin, grapefruit peel, pineapple, some lactose or coconut creaminess, quite zesty on the palate in particular with semi-sweet malt at the core, some brioche, touch of yeast, juicy up front but semi-dry and moderately bitter in the finish, lots of citrus peels and pineapple there and a bit of resin. Medium bodied, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Good one from Noctem, maybe my favourite IPA of theirs. Nice mix of new-school lactose and tropical hops with slightly more old school aggressive citrus.
