Bottle at a tasting. Thanks David C. Clear golden with a light haze. Aroma is grainy with some buttery notes. Flavor starts with sweetish grainy malt and then turns bitter, earthy and a bit metallic. Medium-bodied.

500 ml bottle, thanks to my beerpal Egil. ABV is 5.0%. Deep golden colour, big and lasting white head. Pleasant fruity aroma of hops, notes of orange marmalade and toffee. The flavour is well hopped throughout, with a sufficient malty backbone, the finish is very bitter with some metallic notes.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury, Ashford. My first new rating of 2007, Crystal clear amber colour with lastng rocky off white head. Some peppery citrus hop aroma. I thought that it might be filtered and pasteurised and therefore a bit dead. Some candy sugar suggests that it is pasteurised. Bit biscuity on aroma. Some lovely citrus lemon hop on finish, with good bitterness. Bit soapy maybe. The middle is a bit empty with that boiled sweet flavour. Hops are good though.
