Bottle: clear amber with an off-white head; grapefruit aroma; taste is sweet, strong and chewy with a dry finish which balances the sweetness well.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very beautiful clear amber bordering ruby red. Nice, creamy head. Typical nutty notes and a marked bitterness. A very pleasant drink. 310803

An amber beer with a fine though disappearing head. The aroma is sweet malty with clear notes of yeast and caramel. The flavor is somewhat weird; sour and with a weird hop note. It starts out sweet malty but then gets dominated by sour oranges.

I love that complex yeastiness of the Yorkshire squares. This beer is a wonderful showcase for this rare brewing technique.
