Dark lager with a fine and yet significant coffee flavour (coffee extract added). Very popular especially among our female clients.

Keg at the Brewpub in Prague Day 4 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 2/10/14. Dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma big coffee cake, sweet kamp coffee, amaretto biscuit. Flavour is composed of sweet kamp coffee, earthy note, roast, quite sweet. Quite artifical. Palate is smooth, medium body, sweet. Pretty good.

On tap. Aroma of coffee or maybe cappuccino, caramel, little malty, no hop. Dark, deep brown color, hazy. Soft carbonation. Strong flavor of coffee, little tart, little sweet, bitter. Aftertaste is bitter, but sweet, grainy. Full bodied. Interesting experience.

Surprisingly nice beer. I expected some artificial crap, but this is a Czech style dark sweet lager, with a nice taste of ’normal’ coffee.

Draft at the brewpub. A brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has strange notes of coffee and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and cappuchino, leading to a dry finish.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Roasted malt, sweet coffee in aroma. Milk coffee in taste together with roasted malt and caramel.

Tap at the brewery. Dark brown colour, lightly to ruby. Aroma coffee all the way, roasted. Taste a very little bit watery, then strong coffee. Lower body. I cannot imagine drinking this, and dealing with the redundant water, when by the taste the customer clearly wants to go for espresso. Other than that - acceptable. 6 4 5 2 11. Rerate at RJ. Resembling tiramisu in taste AND flavour. Heavily artificial. Also ice creamy diacetyl. 4 3 4 1 8

draught at Pivovarsky Dum. Almost black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of coffee. Pleasant sweetness in the background, otherwise very coffee-ish, the coffee flavour seems to overpower most of the beery character. The good thing is that the coffee flavour isn’t artificial, seems very natural and makes the beer quite nice to enjoy slowly.
