Amber coloured ale ... grapefruit hop ...with a strong malty fruity if a touch medicinal ... orange peel ... little syrupy ... strength shows through.

Bottle picked up at off Licence in Wareham 22-06-06. Dark Golden colour, small white head, some hops in what is a sweetish aroma, littlle bit dissapointed in the taste though, bitterness lingers a little some hops but overall fell a little short of being a decent bitter.

6th DRG. Clear golden color. Bit fruity, aroma, dusty, sweetish. Smells like furniture. Taste is a bit brackish, bitter, ’wurzig’.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Badged as Wadworth Bishop’s Tipple. Thin white head. Sweetish fruit but underlying yeast, acids and earthy hops. Slightly full but acidic in mouth some apple fruit and then tangy hop finish with more earthy hops. Hot alcohol burn. Not much for me to recommend this
