330ml bottle [as Bossche Bock, 6.7% abv]. Opaque, almost black colour with weak ruby shimmer and small, creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, beige head. Weak, toasty and nutty, dark malty aroma, hints of toasted nuts, dark caramel. Taste is spicy, dark malty and mildly bitter hoppy, notes of liquorice. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and minimally dry palate, finse, dense, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather simple and monotonous, not thge most flattering flavours - so-so.

Fles geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een rode gloed en medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat gebrande geur met fruitige tonen. De smaak is moutig, fruitig, caramel en licht wrang.

Brewery tap. Brown color, cloudy. Malty aroma with a hint of toffee. Hint of roast, licorice, laurel and malt in the thinnish flavor. Drinkable.

Average Dutch bock beer. Body of caramelised malt, with some herbs and dark fruit.

On tap at Bockbier Festival in Amsterdam. Pours a near clear deep amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bread and biscuit note with a hint of popcorn. Flavor has earthy biscuit up front with a bit of popcorn and brown sugar backing.

Vintage 2010
Clear dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel, cherry, sour red fruits. Light sour flavour, malts, cherry and red fruits. Finish light sour, malts and sour cherry.
I know it’s not intended that way, but by aging this has become one fine Sour Ale.

Fantastic color, Absolutely love this color: very dark but still clear, with a deep dark red almost lightly purple shade falling through. Unfortunately that’s all the good there is to this beer. Sour, infected smell and taste as many Kolleke beers seem to have. Average to low carbo and body.
