50cl can. Pours clear and weak yellow with a sprinkly off white head. Quite a lot of sweet pear and apple. Sweet with added sugar. A bit synthetic.

can 50cl. clear light yellow, no head. aroma of apple and pear, very slight stable, sweetness (probably sugar) flavor is sweet pear and apple, alc. not really noticeable. it keeps from getting sweet in a nasty way. okay for this style in perry (which i would label juice, sugar & vodka).

Watery with green glimts and a large champagne hed that disappeared quickly. Very sweet aroma with artificial pear notes. Flavour likewise. Very candy like and artificial. Not even close to a perry...

Bottled. This is most probably the worst drink I’ve ever had. Very bad looking, a horrible aroma of pear and sugar. The flavour is a mix of sticky sugar water and artificial pear flavour enhancer. How the ratings are this high is beyond me. Very happy to trash this horrible liquid after some sips.

Bottle. Very sweet pear aroma. Pale yellow color. Sugary sweet pear flavor - like a pear flavored candy. Cloyingly sweet.

06/01 Before my trip to Austria I was thinking how it would be nice to find Imperial Stouts, Barley Wines, Sakes, Perries etc and while first two were just nice dream, the last one turned out to be available in Eurospar in Graz. Came in 0.33 l bottle which poured some kind of very pale yellow-greenish body with no head at all. Some industrial, almost skunky aroma, yeap obviously of a pear but not good. Flavor very sweet, artificial as everything else, quite reminding me of a cider, just with pear what actually it is. Not so repulsive, but like drinking an artificial perry juice.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy who brought it from Austria (thanks!). Well, well, well. My first perry. Poured a very, very pale yellow-green colour with no head... A fakeish pear nose, so sharp that it’s unpleasant, almost unbearable at times. Ugh. Sweet, sweet pear taste... some bitterness (sweetener?). Feels kinda fakeish but it’s been a long, long time since I last drank real pear juice, so I might be wrong. All in all, I don’t like it.
