Kasteel Blond is beautifully balanced with hop bitters and malty aromas. The hints of fruit from the yeast are reminiscent of citrus fruits. The beautiful balance makes the beer mild in the aftertaste and is therefore an excellent thirst-quencher.

Some bar in Rotterdam: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is flowery and pretty yeasty. Taste is slightly sweet. Lightly bitter with some nice mellow hops. Refreshing and fairly uncomplex Belgian. Not bad.

Bottled 330ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, light yeasty spicy nose. Sweetish malty, pleasant but rather ordinary spicy and quite yeasty with touch of alcohol in the finish. Drinkable but average.

Bottle, bb 10/14. Clear gold with a white head. Restrained aroma of hay, a little honey, herbal lemon. Sweetness is plain pale malty with a little biscuity hint. Moderate bitterness is a little herbal. Very dull.

2003 tryout-version at kulminator . pours fuzzy blonde, good white head. smell is sour applejuice. ’old’ . taste is likewise. malty, apples, sourness is way less than expected but it noticable . low carbo . prob a bit to old ....

Przecietne itroche moze nawet slabe piwo dla mnie jak na ten browar. Malo piany. Prawie nic osadu. Aromat ulotny, wrazenie rozwodnienia. Zawiodlem sie i chyba to najslabsze piwo tej serii.

golden colour, minimal white head;aroma is fruity and a bit earthy; taste of malty sweetnessand alcohol with some bitterness and spicy aftertaste; a bit too much carbonation; I would not say that it’s a bad ale, but it is quite far even from the average...

330ml bottle - Clear medium yellow orange colour with an average, frothy white to off-white head, which went pretty quick giving a little lacing. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, roasted notes, light yeasty, syrupy notes. Flavour is moderately sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Compared to the other Kasteel beers I’ve had recently, this was a bit of a let down.
