Courtesy of Degarth, thanks buddy. Pours dark brown with tan head. Poured at room temperature too, oh yeah! The aroma is fantastic with roasted dark malts split by dark fruity esters that lead into toffee and caramel candy goodness. The taste is only mildly roasted dark and caramelized malts but mostly rich sweet dark fruitiness. I get sweet Concord grape jam, sweet ripe plums, ripe cherries, some dates and a hint of raisins. The roastiness starts with hints of dark roasted malts and some mild grainy malts before the big fruity esters take over the flavor entirely. Very yummy.

500ml Bottle- Very dark, almost black in colour with some red tinges and a large tan head. Malty aroma with a hint of roasted coffee. Fairly rich but smooth taste with malt, coffee and chocolate detected. Very drinkable.

A very dark brown beer with medium and beige head. The nose is sweet and malty, some roastiness, quite simple. Taste is sweet but changes quickly more dryer and slightly roasted, lots of rye bread. The palate is smooth and slippery. The body could be more richer. Quite OK, sweet and malty.
