500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, minimally grainy, malty aroma, a touch of honey. Taste is slightly sweet malty with a honey touch, hints of straw, plain hop bitterness, an alcoholic touch. Nothing to write home about.

(Test vom 20.6.2008) --> 12,7,10,9,12,8 - 8,90

I would have guesssed a heller bock based on it appearance. Clear golden color with fine carbonation and long lasting creamy head. Aroma is sour. Tasteis tangy at first with lots of malt. My guess is that tanginess is what is bringing in the high ABV. I was hoping for better.

Golden colour, aroma of warm caramel, some fruity hops, and bit alcohol, taste of more caramel, the alcohol shines through the malt sweetness.

Bottle. Dark golden, white head. Grainy, light honeyish malt notes, booze, restrained grassy hop counterpoint. Sweet, slightly sticky base. Honeyish finish, grassy aftertaste. Hides its strength well - a bit pointless though if you can get a fullbodied Helles which tastes pretty much the same.

Bottled@OPP (BB 10/2011)
Deep honey-golden color, small white head. Apple fruity, grassy aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavor is very grassy-herbal with apple-fruity maltyness and hints of iron. Not alcoholic, but a bit too thin and herbal. Lame for being -ator!

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Aroma is malts, some mild grains and grass. Flavour is sweetish wood, quite sweet malts as well as some slight notes of alcohol. Lacks a bit of body, but is quite nice still.
