Kuldne õlu ilusa vahuga. Aroom ja maitse on magusad, linnaselised, mõrudat humalat on ka, suhkrut, natuke puuvilju. Alski katab hästi. Hea.

Malt, cake dough and mango in the aroma. Full bodied, thick, almost a powdery mouthfeel. Malty sweet, alcoholic flavor. Somewhat flowery but very fruity (pineapple and mango). Light copper color. A big beer in many aspects.

Tasting at Matt’s
Golden color, clean. Heller Bock character is stronger than Doppelbock here; more alcoholic, oily, with sweet nuts, fusels in the aroma, moderately sweet.
Not a abd beer, and the malt has some depth, but this is not an IIPA, if you target a Doppelbock strength you get better results with darker malts.

Has a golden colour. Some sweeter pale malt nose. Similar palate, very basic. Has a sweet taste but lacks complexity or malt development. Just a simple doppelbock.

Bottle - Touch of grain and pale malt. Clear gold with a decent white head. Green grass and pale malts. Big, but not what I recognize as a dopplebock.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of grassy notes, skunky herbal notes, and toasted malt. Flavour doesn't seem like a doppelbock at all, with straw, herbal notes, some skunky grass, and alcohol. Not convincing as the style, as it's very boozy and lacking in any malt depth. Not good.

Bottle. Clear golden color (barnstein says the label? Isn’t that somewhat amber-ish?), medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, grains, light alcohol. Taste malts, grains, sweetish initially, grainy malt bitter finish. Medium body, somehow a somewhat oily texture, average carbonation. Weird doppelbock but not bad.
