An orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of caramel and metal - I guess the metal comes from the alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also with a light note of caramel - again I think it is the alcohol showing off in this metal note.

Dark, old copper-gold (!); thin but persistent broken white head. Bready nose, malty (pale, bit of cookie malt), little touch of galanga root. Sweet, malty taste, grainy, spicey palate. Lots of crystal malts, chaff retronasal. Full-bodied, slightly sticky, gives an impression of much restsugars. A blonde Doppelbock is rare enough. But it is a strange attempt. Not fully succeeded IMO.
