Mit seinem unstillbaren Wissensdurst erhält unser Pils eine Auszeichnung nach der anderen. Bereits 1975 gab Helmar Schmid, zu jener Zeit Chef unserer Manufakturbrauerei, ihm daher den Namen Diplom Pils.
Mit insgesamt 56 internationalen und nationalen Auszeichnungen wurde diese ungewöhnliche Verleihung eines akademischen Grades bis heute mehr als gerechtfertigt. So wurde dieses besondere Pils im Jahre 2009 vom World Beer Award als World Best Pilsner zum Klassenbesten gekürt. Dank unserem konsequenten Anspruch nach Spitzenqualität folgte 2014 die Auszeichnung zum World’s Best German Pilsner und 2016 zum World’s Best German-Style Pale Lager.
Das Diplom Pils ist heute nicht nur das beliebteste Bier der Manufakturbrauerei Waldhaus – es ist ein echter Pils Klassiker.

Bottle picked up from Appel Getrankemarkt, Moosburg and consumed at home Saturday 23rd December 2023 cooking Kolhapuri Kaala Lamb Sukka and also preparing things for tomorrow, listening to Orbital - Optical Delusion. This pours clear light gold with a white head, sticking to glass sides. Clean, soft, a light sweetness and fruity. Fine but perhaps lacking some dryness, a little bitterness and hoppiness, but nonetheless very drinkable.

Keg at Protokoll, Berlin, 23/07/22. Golden blonde topped with an off white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, straw, grains, herb. Taste comprises pale and light bready malts, dusty hop presence, straw, grains, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough pils.

clear pale golden colour, one inch of creamy snow-white head; aroma of grassy, grainy, hay and slight herbal notes; taste is quite hoppy with similar notes to the aroma and some metallic aftertaste; correct pils

# 3858; 9/2023. Nice malty and floral aroma. Brilliant straw body; lacing white head. Malty, floral, slightly candy, very dry. Very good and typical german pils. 0,5 l, bottle, Dottingen (Baden, Germany).

Direct from the bottle by Alex & Nina. Gold. Fairly clean aroma. Slightly floral. Bitter throughout. Crisp finish with no off notes. Decent.

Barwa jasnozłota, klarowne, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie słodowe, czysty profil. W smaku wytrawne, lekka słodowość. Goryczka do średniej, wysycenie w normie, ciało lekkie. Klasyczny, niemiecki pils.

Tight white head on slowly carbonating pale golden coloured body. Malt, sweet & bready aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with sharp back. Malt, citrus, cereal & biscuit tastes with bitter finish. Decent.
