A big rich and malty Scotch ale featuring a robust flavor and smooth mouthfeel. Generous amounts of caramel malt and kettle caramelization contribute to the rich, malty flavor that is balanced with just the right amount of imported hops.

10oz at the brewery. Dark brown, with a thin, off white head. Sweet alcohol aroma, flavour is toffee, raisins, whisky. Served far too cold, got better as it warmed up

A reddish copper brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light peated notes, grassy hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light peated notes, interesting. On tap at Syracuse Winter Brewfest 2017.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a light brown head that starts at the edges and remains. Aroma is full of sweet malts with caramel, biscuit and cookies with a bit of backing alcohol. Flavor starts with some sweet bread and grows in sweetness with cookies, caramel and a hit of chocolate. A bit of an alcohol burn in the finish. A bit sweet for my liking.
