440ml. can. @home, 20/03/2021 [#3.838 Global - #109 Ireland - #9 Whiplash] VI Nations Rugby Super Saturday. Hazy gold colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma: lemon peel, citrusy hops and sweet tropical fruits. Taste: lemondrop shines with a nice citrusy hops background. Juicy citric finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Next one please!

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon, gummy sweets and pine. Flavour of orange jelly, lemondrops and dried grass. Medium body with a powdery mouthfeel. A good but muted DIPA.

Murky yellow with a solid white head. Aroma of soft tropical fruit. Flavour is mango wheat, soft mouth, lots of tropical fruit on a long bitter finish.

Can. Hazy gold beer, good head, almost white. Palate is light and fairly smooth, decent fine carbonation emerging towards the back end. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Citra and Lemondrop are natural bedfellows to me. Here we have decent fresh orange, slightly floral, from the Citra. Lemondrop hops bring a light but bright lemon here with a decent pinch of lemon sherbet. Trace of yellow grapefruit coming towards the finish, whisper of pink grapefruit. Juicy citric finish also brings a little juicy mango. Yeah, 2 hops made for each other. Very nice job.

(440ml can from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours very hazy bright yellow-gold with a short-lived white head. Notes of bright juicy, zesty lemon and grapefruit, papaya/melon, fresh conifer needles, some sweet tropical fruit, clean malt with a milky wheat/oat feel, moderately sweet with a drying, lightly bitter finish of lemon and grapefruit zests to the fore. Medium-bodied, smooth, but with overly high carbonation. Lovely use of Lemondrop, well-paired with Citra for a bright zesty beer. Very solid, despite being a bit overcarbed.

Can at home, from drinkstore.ie, 31/12/18. Hazed orange golden with a well presented cream cap. Nose is orange pith, mandarin, weed, pine needle, over ripe melon. Taste comprises juicy citric pith, Um Bongo lashings, pine resin, dank stokes, papya, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. More solid hop drool from Whiplash allied to a great mouthfeel.
