Sample on tap. Cloudy deep golden color with thin creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of honey, flowers and caramel. Taste starts with moderate sweet honey, follows by biscuit malt and mild fruity, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is light bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not too sweet, not so bad and much better than expected...

Jan. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle from 100 piv, Bratislava. It poured a hazy amber-reddish body with a small head. Sour aroma, apple, touch of honey. Flavor was very light and sour. No honey at all. Some spices towards the finish make it just a little bit more interesting. Thin bodied not so good, obviously the yeast ate all of its main ingredients. Well, it could pass toi some heads as a sour Brett Honey Belgian Special Saison /addanycrappyhipsterpretentiusnameyoulike/ but this is plainly bad. C’mon Cuso!

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of heavy, shared with him and Marko. Unclear golden coloured, small off-white head, sourish honey nose. Slightly acidic honey and touch of spices with notes of apples and metal. Infected...or maybe not...

Bottle at home thanks to Secret Santa. Slight hazy dark golden with cream colored head that leaves some bubbly islands. Light vinegar and sour berries up front. There’s some light cardboard and honey with a touch of spices, but mostly it’s just gooseberries and other sour fruits. Light lingering metallic bitter finish. Light bodied, dry feel and a bit watery. It’s not horrible, but it’s bland and probably not intentionally sour. Meh.

Thanks heavy for bringing this from Bratislava! Murky golden body, small white head. Perfumey orangey aroma, vague honey, but also strong sour notes. Is this off? Taste... mild, mostly tart, perfumey, but not excessively tart. Not sure if it was supposed to be like this, but I’m feeling it’s slightly better than it should be. Fresh, light sour ale, slightly heavier on the aftertaste than it should be. It actually works like that. But, well, it’s a spoiled honey ale. Oh well.

Thanks to my summer secret santa MisoW for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts malty, a bit wheaty, light sourish-fruity notes. Mild sweet background, fine spicy. Quite drinkable. Not bad!

Tap at RJ. Aroma damp basement, eggy, sulfury. Hazy amber to brown colour. Big head, big bubbles, moderate duration. Taste is way better, but still far from glorious. Sulfur, eggy, meaty. Later on, the badness somewhat mellows and fruity, malty sweetness appears in the front. Overall lots of off-flavours. Still drinkable, but I dont like it. Rerate from bottle - It is about the same. I will just say here that I think the honey variety ruined this. It just does not go well with the beer.
