As Bartholomeus @Fiere Margriet, Leuven. Dark golden/orange colour. Medium/soft carbonation. Sweet beer with malty notes. Light bitter finish. Not very well balanced.

Hazy golden with small bubbly white head. Caramel, yeast, brown sugar, plums, grapefruit and vegan bitterness. Quite sweet apart from the dry bitterness. Overal more like a brown ale actually. Quite nice apart from the finish.

Bottle. Appearance- hazy, orangey, small white bubbly head which quickly diminishes to leave a foamy covering. Aromas of fruits, orange and lemon, zesty, quite nice. Taste- creamy, bitterness, fruity hints, a little bit flat, spicy hints, malt presence. Refreshing overall.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy yellow with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit (peach?), malt, caramel and hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and fruit with bitter notes of hops and alcohol. The presence of the latter is rather well-pronounced, even though the ABV is far from the highest one for this style. Lingering bitter finish with notes of orange peel. Drinkable but far from the best BSA I have had. Just another produce of Silly brewers...

BOTTLE 33CL.

Look: amber and hazy with an off-white medium creamy head with average retention.
Aroma: spicy fruit, tripelesque but with a strong unpleasant grainy or even corn (or yeasty?) character.
Taste: quite sweet grainy/corn, harsh phenolic bitterness.

A bad example of a belgian strong.

33 cl bottle from Doorstep Brew, sampled on Janaury 18, 2013. BB 13/10/13.Clear golden color, big off-white head. Sweet, sugary, some smoke from a phenole I guess, alcohol, also a rather unpleasant smell in the back I can’t really place but a bit like compost or garbage that just is beginning to smell. Sweet, alcohol, sugary, apricots taste. Alcohol and fruity sweet sugary aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Alcohol aftertaste.

33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Amber with a loose white head; the aroma is heady with Belgian yeasts; the flavour is strongly grainy - un-pleasantly so; and there’s little in the way of a finish. Not good.
