Adelscott was the first beer flavored and coloured by peat-smoked whiskey malt. Since then, it has inspired enough breweries to make this a sub-category among the smoked beers.

Good head even from a cold bottle. The aroma is slightly hoppy, with a very slight whisky aftertaste. A different style, OK.

Sticky sweet, smoky. Terribly unbalanced. Undrinkable! Don't listen to Bov! ;-)

Sweet, tarry & smokey. jJust like a single malt whiskey.....................

I can't believe how fake this flavour is. Very sugary. I need to wash my mouth out with a Raftman.

Blast from the past - remember it as quite sugary with some hints of whisk(e)y. Novelty factor back in the days, but even then it was too sweet to enjoy it.
