Big bottle shared at home away from home from Simply in Strasbourg. As Cidre & Poire. Clear light golden with no head and barely any visible carbonation. Quite sweet apple and pear juice, also quite some fruity sourness with almost lemon juice like sharpness. Light grassy and mineral, and in the background there’s a light earthy touch. Mainly very juicy though. Under medium sweet and sour. Thin bodied with low fizzy carbonation.

Bottle at SISGA 2015. Initially sweet, but then somewhat dries out by slight fruity acidity. Thin bodied and quite simple straightforward, but tasty and moreish. Good.

75 cl bottle, Cidre & Poire. Pours clear and golden yellow to greenish, no head. Aroma is mild perry and apples. Sweet and slight citric. Crisp åear zesty and mild citric finish.

33cl bottle from Les Crepes de Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours very pale yellow, exceedingly sweet, sugary pear taste. Has an artificial, chemical pear flavour and perhaps a touch of apple fruitiness but really just way too sweet for me to be enjoyable.

75 cl. starts perry-like typical, not too sour, Taste is dominated by pears, but the fact that it also contains apples is also in the taste present. The mainpart is a bit sweeter, highly drinkable, typical pear-aroma. The aftertaste is long, sweet-perry like, a bit tart and very fruity.
--> nice sweeter perry. Not bad, but for me a bit too sweet.

Bottle. Clear pale golden with a bit of white foam. Aroma of pears and sulphur. Sweetish pear flavor with some apple hints, a sourish note and light sulphury/minerally hint. Light-bodied. Not a great Perry, but drinkable and quite refreshing

Bottle 750ml. @ [ T.S.H.R.B.G.S.C.S.M.T (The Second Handrup RateBeer Gathering Special Cider Sake Mead Tasting) - Ebeltoft ].Clear light to light medium yellow colour with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate pear, vanilla, wood notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pear, vanilla, rubber notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft and fizzy. [20120414]
