500mL can, sent from wilco (thanks Mike), pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out pleasant piney hop notes upfront, with secondary notes of floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and refreshing, with dry piney hops, some floral notes and just enough dry biscuity malt. Well-balanced, dry and crisp, remaining highly drinkable. Not terribly complex, but certainly a thirst-quencher. Great stuff for a hot day.

(Draught at Bryden’s, Toronto) Pours a very pale slightly hazy straw yellow with a decent-sized head of white bubbles. Aroma almost all hops, catty, grapefruit and fresh dank, quite pungent and a good expression of the hop. Flavour follows the nose, dank grapefruit hops dominating a light pale malt backbone with very little sweetness, citrusy bitterness taking from the middle of the palate on through the finish. Dry and crisp. Over-carbonated in draught form, body fairly light but style-appropriate. Summer quencher. The tall cans I had were not as enjoyable.

Nice initial smell here. Has some pine and citrus in initial aroma. Folloes with some light malt. Pours cloudy orange. Decent head and some lacing. Finishes pretty bitter. Texture a little fuzzy, pretty high carbonation. On tap at Tequila Bookworm.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin frothy lacing white head. In aroma, a super fruity and floral hops with citrus notes, lichees, papaya, beautiful. In mouth, a smooth grassy caramel malt with lingering attenuated floral hops, pink grapefruit pulp, very good. On cask at Arrow and Loon, April 15 2012.
