Tap at the Source. Pretty, deep, red, hazy, with lace. Lovely raspberry nose, dry fruit, ok funkiness. Dry, fruity flavor, light sourness, dry finish. Light. Nice. These are rather simple beers in this series, but all tasty.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt amber/almost pink color with a lasting finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Stringy light/somewhat messy lacing roams around the glass.
The aroma takes genuine red raspberries to bleed into a nice sour to tart to sweet authenticity. Subtle sweet grass, sly lemon rind (slightly bitter).
The flavor is balanced nicely between the sweet to the tart to the sour - all between the red raspberry; fully all of the way on into the aftertaste and riding on into the finish, nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable to sipping quality about it. Carbonation rides at a nice speed hitting my tongue just right.
Overall, what an absolutely damn nice authentic American Wild ale. It’s as if they put real red raspberries right in the beer (ah, they probably did, lol), but hey, yeah, I absolutely loved it.

Taster at the brewery - lightly hazy purplish pink - fairly complex, earthy raspberry character in the nose - flavor has a light savory character up front, moderate acidity - quite dry, with earthy raspberry and lightly funky fruit skin - the faintest bit of berry sweetness before a dry finish, with moderately prickly acidity - it’s pretty good.

On tap at ’Beertemple’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Slightly hazy, pinkish red with a white head. Sourish, very fruity aroma of raspberries, some cherries and some strawberries. Very sour, really fruity taste of lots of raspberries, cherry and some strawberry, followed by a medium long, very tart and dry finish. Thin to medium body, very astringent and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, but very simple.

Tap into a snifter showing red pigmented, very well filtered, and sparse head. The nose shows light raspberries with a wet blanket/bretty odor. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Lightly tart with a lot of raspberry forwardness with a light jolly rancher sweetness on the finish.
