Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a black color with a nice level finger’s worth of off white foamy head that seemed to take forever to dissipate. Sliding messy lace.
The aroma had some soft roasty to sweet cocoa beans, coffee beans, a touch of vanilla and then Irish cream. Dark fruits as it warms up.
The flavor leans towards the sweet side covering all of the previously mentioned aromas together. Mild fruity sweet to creamy aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt fine. Pretty smooth and creamy all around.
Overall, pretty nice Irish dry stout well worthy of having again.
