Originally rated March 2006. Bought a 4-pack of this stuff at the Dépanneur Chenier in Hull, Quebec. New product, and not in six-pack like the other Bowes beers. Pours a very pale yellow colour with really heavy carbonation. The head is actually not bad at all, white and frothy, and medium in retention. The nose starts off malty, but ends up in this chemical scent. The taste starts off on this corn syrup, but end up as well in the chemical field. Actually had a huge corn taste, for such a light beer. Should of stick to it.

Cannette. De couleur jaune dorée pâle et transparente. Léger nez de grains de malt pâle sucrés et de maïs sucré avec de faibles notes herbeuses gazonnées et métalliques. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et légèrement croustillant ainsi qu’une texture aqueuse. Goût de grains de malt pâle légèrement sucrés et aux notes croustillantes lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût de maïs légèrement sucré accompagné de faibles notes métalliques puis une finale légèrement herbeuse de gazon mouillé. Post-goût très court et aux notes sèches, composé de notes herbeuses et de traces métalliques.
