Schöne dunkle Farbe, ordentliche Menge Hefe. Viel Malz, Spuren von Kakao, ein Hauch von Balsamico. Leicht röstig, minimal trocken. Eine interessante und durchaus schmackhafte Komposition von süßen und säuerlichen Noten.

Flasche, gespendet von MoritzF! Cloudy chestnut-brown, mid-sized off-white head. Yeasty and wheaty, quite lioght-bodied and light-flavoured. Not the caramel and chocolate flavours I expected from this dark beer. Dark by name only, unfortunately.

Deep chestnut-amber coloured, big and stable creamy off-white head; slightly sourish caramelly/dark-malty/fruity nose, wheaty dust in the background, yeast not completely hidden; moderate sourish-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, but relatively soft at least;shorter sourish and sweet caramelly finish. Well drinkable, unspectacular Dunkelweizen...

(bottle) Hazy, amber to brown colour with a beige and medium-sized foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with wheat, traces of caramel and chocolate, as well as fruity notes of dark and red berries. Slightly sweet and delicately sour flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasted malty and wheaty base with present fruity notes and delicately yeasty and phenolic spice; slightly toasty and spicy, mainly fruity finish. Decent. 02.V.16

Bottle at home. Slight hazy nice looking reddish brown with light beige creamy head. Some banana, caramel and spices, soft minerals, sand, dry wood. Light sweet. Medium bodied with slight creamy feel and quite some carbonation. A bit bland but not bad.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, röstmalzig, leicht fruchtig würzig. Geschmack hefig, leicht würzig, leicht fruchtig.
