Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium creamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and citrus. Medium bodied and moderately bitter with floral hops, citrus and malt flavors. Slightly peppery as well. The finish is citrusy with a lingering bitterness. Above average overall.

A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is nicely hoppy combined with oranges. The flavor is sweet hoppy combined with notes of caramel and strong notes of grass coming towards the end, leading up to a dry bitter end.

Hazy light amber color. Light hoppy aroma, lightly fruity. Medium malty body, with a reasonable amount of hops; the hops are lightly fruity and a bit herbal (camomile). Drinkable.

Nice blend of malts and hops into a very smooth drinking IPA. The amount of bitterness was great, it featured a nice amount of sweetness, and finished with nice bitter kick with a hint of floral tones. Nicely done by Deschutes.

This cloudy orange IPA exudes a mild sweet citrus aroma. and hints of orange rind, peach and mustiness. Certainly a change of pace for me since it’s short on pine and grapefruit aroma and taste. But it does not lack for bitterness and a subtle hop bite, but the bitterness is overtaken by sweeter tastes of oranges, bread and malt. Seemed to get a bit too syrupy as it warmed.

Thanks to Bück Dich for sending this one! This looks real good going into the glass, light amber color, large white head and the aroma is light yeast and pine. The flavor balance is slightly bitter with a bit of detracting sourness in the finish.

Nice English style IPA with the balance between the hops and malt that I expected.
I think somebody else called it a good session IPA. I agree.

Best regards,
Bill
