Sample at 101 Beer Kitchen Westerville during the 3 Floyds Takeover event on 12/30/2018. The beer is a hazy golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a floral and citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On tap at Mikkeller DTLA. A bit hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, resin and light malt. The same in the taste. The finish was on the sweet side. A decent one.

Bomber from Woodman's Menomonee Falls. Hazy orange, thin creamy white head. Good retention. Aroma of lactose, pale malt, floral hops. Taste is pine, resin, earth, pale malt, vanilla, lactose. dank. Medium bodied, decent balance, lingering bitterness. Decent beer, and of course 3F does it well. But that doesn't mean this isn't a style that should have never existed past the first brewery's failed experiment. Lactose belongs in cows and stouts, nowhere else.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden body. Frothy off-white head. Big hop aroma of pine, resin, citrus, grapefruit peel, light vanilla, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Nice departure from all the orange juice, tropical fruit, hazy ipas. Good balance between bitter and lactose sweetness.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of pine hops with a bit of resin and notes of lactose and sweet grain underlying. Flavor has bitter pine and resin throughout with a touch of lactose and sweet grains backing.
