Bottle. Golden body with a fizzy white head. Aroma of toasted and raw grain and light floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Taste of peppery alcohol, floral and grassy hops. Boozy and clunky.

750 ml bottle. For those outside of New Jersey, the reference to the 34’ bald eagle sign is the Anheuser Busch brewer in Newark next to the Airport. This beer pours bright gold with a small frothy white head, very similar in appearance to the "king of beers" produced at the above mentioned brewery. That is where the similarity ends. Subtle grainy malt nose mixes with grassy, floral hops. First sip is bittersweet maltiness and peppery hops. The hops take control and dominate the palate. The mix of European and American Pacific Northwest hops provide a big complex bitterness you won’t find in "America’s beer". The finish is dry and spicy, with a hint of warming alcohol. As far as I can tell, no beechwood aging or Clydesdale horses were used to produce this Pilsner.
