Sample at the downtown brewpub. Slightly hazy pale straw color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. The aroma is wheaty with some spice and fruit notes in the background. Aroma of herbal wheat, clove and citrus. The finish is fruity with a spice and wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Light gold/yellow body with a thin white head. Light aroma of clove, banana and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of clove and wheat. Nowhere near the classic wit, but refreshing enough for a summer beer.
