Aged for several months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels, this Porter pours to the appearance of fresh espresso with a creamy chestnut-hued foam. Aromas of fresh brewed coffee and dark chocolate mingle with flavors of toasted almonds, toffee, and caramel. A medium body that is reminiscent of rich, whole-wheat bread supports the deep bourbon flavors which build to an intensely satisfying finish.

Draft. Deep brown body with a beige head rapidly diminishing. Aroma of bourbon, wood, sweet malts, molasses, herbs. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, soft carbonation. Sweet and slightly boozy with a touch of bourbon. This beer has all the possibilities of falling off the edge into cloying sweetness and hot alcohol, but it doesn’t. Dry, light bourbon finish with tastes of cherry, vanilla and caramel.
