Dark brown, no head. The aroma is lightly toffeeish and some bubblegummy notes, tastes sweet with more sugars and gummy phenols. Ok but not my favourite type of beer. Probably not enough toasty brown ale notes for me

Draft at Santa Fe taproom. Deep brown body. Tan, fizzy head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of roast, milk chocolate, dark fruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Tastes of roasted malts with notes of licorice and overripe fruits. Good balance between the roast and fruit flavors and the lingering bitterness. On par with Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale. The Belgian yeast adds some nice fruity esters. I had lots of Marble’s beers on a recent trip to New Mexcio and was impressed with this brewery. Solid.
