On tap at Bailey’s Taproom Third Anniversary Barrel Aged Fest. Pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Aroma was of nice coffee, vanilla, molasses, bourbon, roast malt, and some hops. Taste was just as good with the sweet molasses and vanilla. Along with a good amount of coffee and wood.

Bomber. Bottle May 2010. Deep brown, approaching black. Frothy, tan head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of roasted malts, mild coffee, molasses, grass, earthiness, licorice, wood, vanilla, smoke and alcohol. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately bitter, lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, alcoholic finish. Slightly smoky, peaty aftertaste. Dry as well. Too much of a boozy, bourbon taste.
