A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby pour/brown pour, huge frothy beige head. Long lasting, excellent retention, solid lacing on the glass. Malty nose, somewhat strong caramel presence, coffee, wood, a bit sugary. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft and chewy, quite gentle on the palate. Bottle bought at the last Alvinne fest and stored carefully since. Pours thick dark brown with small golden head. Aroma is full on coffee, burnt, slightly fruity, almonds, some boozy sweetness. Taste is very nice, lots of coffee but not overwhelmingly bitter. Very roasty. Hint of the booze in the aroma but not in the taste. Nice long lasting subtle bitter coffee finish.

Een heerlijke stout. Zwart, met goed lichtbruin schuim. Caramel in het aroma, goede smaak en gelukkig is die niet te zoet. Heerlijk!
