Look: opaque deep brownn to black with a small well-lacing head of beige colour. Nose: dark malts, moderate roastiness, vinous notes, figs and dates, chocolate, distant coffee. Taste: light sweet, massive roasted barley, chocolate, ground coffee, dark fruit, warming alcohol, solid ending hop bitterness. Palate: medium body, soft carbonation. Overall: nice and dangerously drinkable old school imperial stout

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and complex. Solid after more than 6 years!! Bièropholie imports.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby pour/brown pour, huge frothy beige head. Long lasting, excellent retention, solid lacing on the glass. Malty nose, somewhat strong caramel presence, coffee, wood, a bit sugary. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft and chewy, quite gentle on the palate. Roasty bittersweet taste. Strong roasted coffee aroma, latte, some wood notes. Mild fruity background, dried fruits, hints of figs. Mild coal, toasted caramel, brown sugar. Sticky. Roasty bitter finish, dry, long lasting. Solid coffee stout. Seems a bit lightweight for an Imperial despite the ABV.

Bottle bought at the last Alvinne fest and stored carefully since. Pours thick dark brown with small golden head. Aroma is full on coffee, burnt, slightly fruity, almonds, some boozy sweetness. Taste is very nice, lots of coffee but not overwhelmingly bitter. Very roasty. Hint of the booze in the aroma but not in the taste. Nice long lasting subtle bitter coffee finish.

Tastes oddly like a 6% abv beer. Well made, mild coffee notes, Quite light in color for a stout, more of a dark amber. But all around enjoyable beer. online belgian beer factory

Een heerlijke stout. Zwart, met goed lichtbruin schuim. Caramel in het aroma, goede smaak en gelukkig is die niet te zoet. Heerlijk!
