Our take on an American classic; California common meets West Coast hops. Fermented with lager yeast at warmer temperatures usually reserved for ales, this beer has a crisp refreshing finish which pairs perfectly with the caramel malt and a reassuring bitterness of a West Coast IPA. We then added a hefty dry-hop of Simcoe and Comet for Grapefruit, pine and resin aromas.

440ml can from Beer Gonzo. Pours hazed amber with a beige head. Aroma: pale malts, orange, pine. Taste: light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, quite dry, malty, caramel, citrus hints, pine bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation.

440ml can direct from the brewery. Murky amber with a small white head, nice retention. No huge aroma but getting malts, orange, resin. Flavour - Malty, caramel, yeasty, grapefruit, resin, quite dry, solid bitterness throughout. A bit of a hybrid beer with elements of a yeasty lager and West Coast IPA combined. It works quite well here.
