A golden hoppy pale ale, brewed with Summit, Columbus, Citra and Mosiac hops in the copper, with the perfect amount of Mosiac dry hopped into the fermenting vessel to produce our hoppiest beer to date, producing a beautifully fruity, well balenced hop forward beer without the bitterness.

Cask at Greyhound, Stafford. Pours a golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Only a weak aroma – hints of floral hops and oranges. In the mouth it starts off briefly sweet with hints of corn and butter, but quickly the bitterness of floral and traditional hops comes to the fore and gradually increases to dominate. Flavour has marmalade and ginger as well plus hints of cloves and nutmeg leading to a dry and bitter finish. This is rather nice – a good old fashioned IPA.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Crystal clear, orange, golden colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, citrusy and fruity, hoppy aroma, pale and slightly caramel malty background, hints of orange, mandarine, a touch of tropical fruit. Taste is slightly dry, grassy and fruity, slightly citrusy hoppy, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness, hints of orange, mandarine, a touch of grapefruit, a minimally mineral touch in the last third. Slightly oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Balanced and harmonious, drinkable - very nice.
