[50cl bottle of Muddy Wellies Original Ale from Westholme Stores, Goring.] A hazy reddish amber pour with a loose cream coloured head; yeasty aroma; sweet caramel malt body with some sour fruit; and then a dry finish with licorice and aniseed. A distinctive taste that starts to grow on me after a while.

500ml bottle from Melbicks Garden Centre, Coleshill. Hazy amber with a large frothy almost creamy head, plenty of retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malts and a fragrant flora hops. Taste is caramel malts, a background of zesty orange peel. Light body and moderate carbonation. Quite tasty.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers!]. Cloudy, redd-ish dark amber colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Leafy and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of red berries, caramel malty background. Taste is minimally sweet, caramel malty, leafy, fruity and minimally citrusy hoppy, notes of red berries, a touch of orange peel. Watery texture, slightly overcarbonated. Nice.
