It’s all about the malt! Keeping true to the style with a huge malt bill of crystal malts, golden naked oats and roasted barley to give a medium bodied mouthfeel and a boozy finish.

330ml bottle: BBE November 2023. Drank at home on 1st December 2022. I allowed the sediment to leave the bottle, so I got a cloudy pour. Red hue to the brown body, weak head that didn't last long. Malty, semi-sweet and boozy, that's it in a nutshell.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe - Murky chestnut body, thin white head. Nose is caramel and malt, taste is toffee with a molasses sweetness. Not much in the way of booziness, but very pleasant.
