Can from Drankgigant. Dark brownish amber colour, thin layer of foam. Nose of sweet malts, dried fruit, caramel, lots of bourbon. Syrupy, rather sweet but complex and well balanced. Great barley wine!

33cl can. A clear dark amber beer with a small beige lacing. Aroma of sweet strong caramelized malt, vanilla, Bourbon. Taste of sweet woody caramelized malt, nuts, vanilla, Bourbon.

Sehr süßer Beginn. Dunkles Malz, Karamell, Nuancen von Vanille, helles Holz. Boozy, keine Herbe, kein Hopfen, auf der anderen Seite aber auch nicht schokoladig sondern eher zuckrig. Wenig karbonisiert, mittellanger karamelliger Abgang. 10/9/8/9/10/8

Head gone in seconds; deep reddish-shot mahogany to brown beer. Very vinous nose, (Brasil)nutty, X-mas cake with a good shot of port, very rich aromas. Sweet to very sweet, syrupy, but again with a rich, madeira-like quality. After some time, it becomes really brandy-like, with a beery, chocolaty twist. Rich bodied, alcoholheat, utterly viscous, luxurious. Sheer gluttony, eating & drinking.

Dark ruby colour, not much head. Aroma is very raisiny, fruit cake, toffee .. bourbon is lurking. Full-bodied, smooth palate. Quite sweet and malty. Raisins, toffee, bourbon and vanilla in the flavour. Sweetness hides alcohol very well. Ok dessert beer although I prefer a bit more edge to the flavour.

Can shared by joes. Dark red color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, raisins, sweetish, bourbon, toffee, slight bitter finish. Good. 8-4-8-4-16
