Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel, Apple syrup, red berries and oak in the vinous aroma and flavor. Malty, even bready. Sour. Good, complex beer.

Bottle shared at home on the roof, thanks to Maakun. Dark brown with white head. Sour grain, rusty, raisins, grapes, poopy funk. Moderate sweet and bitter, medium but mild sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. Tasty.

Bottle shared. Clear deep reddish brown with small beige head. Caramel, red wine, soft sherry, almonds, oak, red berries, soft funk, raisins, a touch of glue, sweet blackberries. Nice and fruity, but also lots of barrel notes. Medium sweet, under medium sour and bitter. Over medium balanced. Well done, maybe a bit oaky, but I like that it’s not so sour. Good!

Bottle as part of the European Local Swap 2/2019, many thanks @Maakun. @home 07/06/2019. Hazy amber to ruby colour with a thin white head. Aroma is vinegar, sour cherries, caramel and brown sugar. Taste is sour cherries, caramel malts, vinegar and spices. Oak finish. Overspiced for my taste. Next one please!

Bottle. Bottledate 20-4-2017. Color: Hazy amber to ruby, very thin off-white head. Aroma: Tart berries, vinuous. Taste: Vinuous, red wine, moderate to medium tart. Subtle funk notes. Combined with light to moderate sweet and light bitter notes. Red berries, sweet and sour cherries, wood notes. Balsamico vinegar. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Going towards a Flemish red / brown. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very enjoyable sour beer from one of the least known breweries of The Netherlands. Luckily this beer is a bit better available outside The Hague recently. A bit expensive but worth the money in my opinion.

This was a pleasant surprise. Good sourness, tons of wood, even a bit fruity. Flemish Old Brow, but not Flemish. Excellent balance, complex in its simplicity.
