Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, good carbonation. Smooth dry malts, mildly sweet. Modest piney hop into tangerine and orange peel. Mild hop spice. Some citric peel on the finish. Tidy, but lacks hop brightness.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [180717]
Yellow orange, very hazy, frothy fluffy white head, some lacing
Aroma of citrus zest, lemon, sweet hop resins, tropical fruits, soft orange, dab of pine, lots of fruit, quite complex
Taste as aroma, citrus fruits, soft sweet juicy pale malts, hop resins, dab of orange, quite zesty, soft pine, lot going on
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, smooth texture, bit sticky, well balanced...plenty of bitterness and sweetness. Finish as main flavour with more bitter zest in the tail, cleans off well
Overall - This is a great beer, one of the best they have done
