This big-bird-couloured-blue-bastard is our IIPA. This beer will rock and F*ck up your taste buds for sure. A double IPA as a double IPA should be. A full bodied palate wrecker of a hop bomb. We dry hop this bad-boy in every tank to get all those tropical, fruity, piney and citrusy aromas and flavors in there. For this mofo we use 8 different American hop varieties! And it’s the beer with the most hops in it and for that reason no beer to put away. IPA means drink fresh! Obviously unfiltered and unpasteurized.

Aroma of malt, peach, tropical fruits, light pine and resin. Flavour is malty, light to medium sweet, fruity hops, leading to a medium bittersweet finish. Nice full body and mouthfeel. Well-balanced and delicious DIPA.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark amber coloured brew with an Americanesque bitter taste and hints of a bunch of citrus fruits.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Aromas of fresh hops, grape, floral notes, slight cheese, caramel, malt and some fresh grain. Taste is pretty sweet, slightly hoppy, some exotic notes, grape, sweet orange, some caramel malts. Slightly cheasy aswell. Low carb.

Huge amberish cream head, dense and fine, retreating with some lace over clear amber-orange beer. Caramel, cakebottom, grapefruit, orange, orangemarmalade, pineapple, green leaves. Very bitter, metallic, quinine-like bitterness, walnutpeel. Much less citrus than in the nose, but orangemarmalade is retained. Very slick & hopoily, even some astringency. At least medium bodied, low to medium carbonation. Bit severe, could well do with a bit more aromatic components in the flavour.

Swietnie pachnace i wygladajace piwo. Piana spora i trwala, metne, lekko oleiste, oliwkowe. Wspanialy bukiet kwiatowy, perfumy i cytrusy. Smak chmielny ze spora slodycza, ale w umiarkowanej dawce. Przykrywa to masa przeroznych chmieli. Zlozone i bardzo tresciwe. Nieco ciezkie i niestety alkohol wyczuwalny.

23/I/16 - 33cl bottle @ Le Trappiste (Brugge) - BB: 10/VII/16 (2016-58)

Clear reddish amber beer, creamy irregular off-white to beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, pineapple, jam, malty, some honey, bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pineapple, pretty bitter, caramel, malty, more bitterness, honey. Aftertaste: some citrus, bitter, bit grassy, hoppy, resinous, piny, bit sweet, caramel, a bit too old probably.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color, topped with a medium sized but nicely lasting off white head. Very noticeable malty aroma, lots of biscuity and some caramel notes. A bit of fruity presence, and also quite resiny. Sweet and fruity start, moderate bitterness with some noticeable alcohol warmth. Strong and malty oriented. Medium full body.

Bottled, thanks (Euro trade, was it Benzai? Or someone equally kind...) Cloudy amber, small head. Perfumy, peachy nose. Sweet and bready with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Gentle, slightly fruity and caramelly with some peach and spice. Peppery finish.
