Het verhaal van dit bier begint in 2002 als de brouwer zijn vrouw leert kennen tijdens het kaarten (manillen). Koeketiene is de ruiten 10 in het kaartspel.
Koeketiene is een zachte tripel, met een evenwichtige smaak en een goede bitterheid. Met passie gebrouwen, uit liefde voor het kaartspel en voor de vrouw van de brouwer. EBC 11.

On tap. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta note di caramello, miele, frutta secca e frutta passita.

Bottle. Yeasty aroma with esters, fruity notes, pale malt, spicy notes with coriander, some citrus, touch of orange peel. Flavour is above medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Pretty good Tripel, estery and fruity.

Bottle at Toogoloog Middlekirke. Clear gold amber colour lasting white head. Some crystallised citrus fruits on aroma tangerine and grapefruit. That's pretty good. And I've had a lot of tripels. That is solid. Good fruit. Good hoppy bitter finish. Doesn't allow sweetness to get out of hand. Loved it.

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a nice peachy sweetness. Grainy, full bodied. Lightly bitter in the finish. Sweet but not a typical Tripel.

Clear deep golden colour, good frothy white head, good retention, patchy lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, coriander, banana, yeast. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, yellow fruit, bit metallic, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, malty notes, some cardboard, decent middle of the road tripel.

From notes: Deep golden to amber colour with floating particles. Off white head. Aroma's: sweetish, malty, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet. Medium bodied. Too sweet.

33cl bottle from Spar Oostende. F: huge, creamy, egg-white, long lasting. C: gold, medium hazy. A: malty, floral, spicy, peach, bit orange peels, yeasty. T: medium malty base, fruity esters, honey, alcohol touch yet not disturbing, spicy, yeasty, dry on the palate, medium carbonation, another tripel yet not bad at all, enjoyed.
