Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, caramel, malt, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spuces, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

It has a slightly unusual aroma full of very resinous hops plus apple, spearmint, cherry and tobacco. The resin and tobacco are joined by some grapefruit and salt water in the taste. The aftertaste is a little more standard, consisting mainly of grapefruit and plenty of alcohol.

From a 500ml bottle on 26/3/2017 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours an opaque dark golden with a small to medium head. The nose is quite fruity and yeasty. Flavour wise, there’s quite a bit of sweet fruit, some yeastiness and a prominent, quite salty bitterness. The saltiness is actually quite overpowering. Full bodied, with moderate carbonation. Might be okay if it wasn’t so salty.

500ml bottle. Aroma is sweet and fruity, a little pear, a little white chocolate. Flavour is big bitter grapefruit up front leading into a strong bittersweet caramel finish. Gains a little black pepper character as it warms. Tasty.

Hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Smooth creamy sweet malts, touch of caramel. Juicy hops - ripe orange, orange peel. Pine and hop spice. Resinous tropical fruits. Trace of blackcurrant - maybe Pacific Jade? Light finish Juicy and drinkable.

On tap at Alehouse Project, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops upfront, with some stone fruits and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is very fresh, with loads of piney hops upfront, a touch of fruitiness and bone dry biscuity malt. Loads of pine on the finish. Excellent.
