Fläschle (...vom Konstanzer See!): Pale golden, a bit unclear, visible carbonation, creamy and stable white head, dryish grassy nose, grains and traces of vegetables in the background; dryish and a bit tart bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and - yes - tart; grainy, bitter and slightly astringent finish. A beer of ridiculous quality! The label claims, that it is brewed following the recipes of the former Cluss ( Heilbronn) Brauerei. Just marketing, meh...

Cluss Kellerpils naturtrüb, Fläschchen aus dem Pils-Mixpaket vom Biershop Baden-Württemberg. - Goldgelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase strohiges helles Malz und leicht künstlicher zitroniger Hopfen, eher billig anmutend. - Antrunk saftig brotig-hellmalzig mit milder, neutraler Zitronenschale; Anklänge an Zitronenseife. Milder rezent, wenig schlank aber rund. Im Abgang milde Zitronenschalenherbe, schwach muffig-ranzig. - Nur minimal gehopft, mit blasser Herbe und ohne bessere Hopfenaromen; zwar einigermaßen rund und süffig aber kein echter Pilsgenuß.

33cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy pale golden colour with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of grassy hops, light spicy hops. Taste of mild grassy hops, not too bitter, hay, a bit spicy.

Keg at the kings arms. A translucent yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting white frothy head. Aroma is raw cereal grains, apple, pils, earthy grains. Flavour is tangy apple, cereal, grains crisp dry pils gains. Palate is crisp and refreshing with a little sweet note. Semi dry in the finish. Maybe a little thin. Good.
