Northern Funk is een duo-release collaboration met onze goede vrienden uit Engeland: Northern Monk. We hebben gekozen om onze krachten te bundelen. Dit heeft geresulteerd in twee hoppige bieren die zijn vergist met Amalgamation, een brettanomyces super blend.
Een gelukkig huwelijk tussen een late hoptoevoeging in de ketel en een uitgerekte eerste fermentatie met brettanomyces heeft gezorgd voor een zachte funk met prachtige tonen van ananas.

Bottle. Pale blonde. Lemon, floral notes and funk in the aroma and flavor. A moderate sweetness, soft bretty notes. Pineapple. Lovely.

Bottle shared in Korntal-Münchingen. Slightly hazy yellow golden with white head. Sweet malts, tropical fruits, pineapple, sweet and sour peach, light dough and soft grass, light sweet floral notes, clover flowers. Massive hay and horseblanket brettfunk, citrus peel. Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy pale golden, thin white head. Aroma: Barnyard funk. Taste: Brett barnyard funk, horse blanket, light sour, moderate sweet and bitter. Grain, hay. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Well balanced. Very nice.
